Little apps that make life lighter

Four apps for the messy, loud reality of family life and travel, built for iOS and Android. Each one does a single job and does it on the device. Our family apps never store or share your data, full stop, and that constraint decides what we are willing to build.

The family app pledge

Nothing leaves the phone. Ever.

This is not a setting, a tier, or a promise we reserve the right to revise. It is the founding constraint of every family app we make, and it decides which features are allowed to exist.

If a feature cannot work without shipping your family's life to a server, that feature does not get built.

NEVER STORED

We keep nothing

Momitor listens for one word on the device and increments a counter. No audio is recorded, no transcript is written, no quote is ever saved or shown. There is no archive of what your family said, because none is created.

NEVER SHARED

We send nothing

No analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no data brokers, no partners. Nothing about your children is sold, licensed, or handed to anybody, because nothing about your children leaves the device to begin with.

NEVER PROFILED

You are not the product

No account, no sign-in, no profile assembled behind your back. These apps are paid for by people who buy them, which is the only business model that lets us mean any of the above.

This applies to every app on this page and to every family app we ship after them. It is the one thing we will not trade for a feature, a deadline, or a deal.

Inside Momitor

What an on-device app looks like

Momitor is the clearest example of the rule. It listens for one word, counts it, classifies why, and never writes down what anybody said.

The clip is the App Store preview, running silently. Tap it, or the disc, for sound. Everything in it happened on the phone.

How we build them

The rules every app follows

RULE 01

On the device

Processing happens on your phone. If something has to leave, we say so plainly and you decide.

RULE 02

No account wall

You open the app and it works. No sign-up to see the thing you downloaded it for.

RULE 03

One job, done well

Every app has one sentence that explains it. Features that do not serve that sentence do not ship.

The specifics

What every app does, and does not do

The same answers apply to all four, which is the point of having a standard instead of a policy page per app.

AccountsNone required. You open the app and it works.
AdsNone, in any app, ever. No sponsored placements either.
AnalyticsNo third-party trackers and no advertising SDKs.
AudioMomitor saves no recordings, transcripts, or quotes. Nothing to leak, because nothing is kept.
Your dataStays on the device. Family apps never sync it, never back it up to us, and never share it.
OfflineCore features keep working without a connection.
PlatformsiOS and iPadOS in Swift and SwiftUI, Android in Kotlin and Compose.
KidsMomitor Math is built to be earned and put down, with no endless loop and no chat.
Common questions

Before you download

The studio behind these apps is described on the Studio page, along with what it takes on and how a project runs.

Is Momitor really listening all day?

It listens for a single word on the device and increments a counter. No audio is recorded, no transcript is written, and nothing is uploaded. If that were not true the app would need a privacy policy far longer than this paragraph.

When does the Android version land?

Thoosie is the first app with a real Android build in progress, including a Wear OS companion. The others are iOS first, and Android follows where the demand is there rather than as a box to tick.

How do you make money without ads?

Paid apps and optional subscriptions, plus the client work in the other two practices. Nobody is the product here.

Will an app get abandoned?

These are built by the studio that runs on them, not by a team chasing a funding round. Momitor and Thoosie are used daily in this house, which is the strongest maintenance guarantee anybody can honestly offer.

App ideas

Got an app you wish existed?

We build our own, and we build them for other people. If you have an idea with a clear one-sentence job, tell us about it.
