What it costs

Numbers, before you have to ask

Most studios make you sit through a call to find out whether you can afford them. Here is what work costs, so you can decide in the next ninety seconds whether to keep reading.

The rest of it

Two things sit outside the table above because they are priced differently, and pretending otherwise would just waste your time.

Agent systemsPilots, builds, and embedded work are priced on the agent engineering site.
GravyOur platform for auto shops is a subscription product with its own pricing, listed on its own site.
Express buildsA compressed schedule against a fixed date carries a surcharge, quoted up front. How express works.
TeardownsFree, and there is no catch. What you get.
MaintenanceIncluded on monthly plans. Available on one-time builds, quoted separately.
How money actually works here

You see it before you buy it

The order of operations matters more than the number. Most of the risk in hiring anyone is paying before you know what you are getting.

01

Nothing up front

For website work, the build happens before you have paid anything or signed anything.

02

You see it finished

A real, working site with your content in it. Open it on your phone. Show it to your people.

03

Then you decide

If it is not clearly better than what you have, you owe nothing and we part friends.

04

Price is locked

The number agreed before work starts is the number on the invoice. No change orders on our scope mistakes.

Straight answers

The money questions

If yours is not here, ask it in your first email. You will get a number rather than a discovery call.

Which option should I take?

Build only if you have your own developer and want the asset outright. The monthly plan if you would rather not think about it again: it cuts the up-front cost by $1,500 and keeps us on the hook, because a site you pay for monthly has to stay worth paying for. A one-time build ends our relationship on launch day, which is worse for you than it sounds.

What if I need something bigger than a website?

Then it gets scoped and quoted as a fixed number. Ambitious work is welcome, and more scope means more time rather than a reduced result. The Grand Adventure, Gravy, and Thoosie are all on the Studio page if you want to see what that looks like.

Do you charge for changes?

Not on a monthly plan. On a one-time build, small changes during the build are part of the build. A genuinely new requirement gets quoted before anybody starts on it, never after.

Is there a contract?

No lock-in. Monthly plans cancel whenever you want. Your content, your domain, and your data leave with you in a format you can actually use.

Will you tell me not to buy?

Regularly. Plenty of businesses are doing fine on a Google profile and word of mouth, and plenty of workflows should not have an agent anywhere near them. That answer costs us a project and saves you a year.
